Graded Ballet Classes | Riccall, Fulford, Osgodby

Our Graded Ballet classes are designed for dancers aged 10 to 18 years who are ready to refine their skills and grow as performers. These classes follow the ISTD syllabus, offering a structured pathway for technical development while fostering artistry and confidence. Whether students aim to pursue ballet as a hobby or aspire to dance professionally, our program provides the tools they need to thrive.

What Happens in a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Level Ballet Class?

Each class is carefully planned to balance technical training with creative expression. During the sessions, dancers will:

Choreography plays a key role in these classes, encouraging dancers to express themselves creatively through movement. Students learn how to convey emotion and artistry in their performances, enhancing their stage presence and storytelling abilities.

Building Artistry

Graded Ballet classes focus on refining essential ballet techniques, including posture, alignment, flexibility, and strength. Students practice precise movements and sequences to develop a solid technical foundation while preparing for more advanced steps.

Mastering Technique

Performance skills are nurtured in a supportive environment, building confidence both on and off the stage. For those who wish to, optional ISTD and I-Path medal exams are available, offering rewarding milestones to celebrate progress and growth.

Preparing For Exams & Beyond

These classes are aligned with the ISTD syllabus, enabling students to work towards graded examinations at their own pace. Exams provide structured goals and milestones to mark their progress, but participation is entirely optional. Whether or not they choose to take exams, every student is encouraged to achieve their personal best.
