Graded Tap Classes | Riccall, Fulford, Osgodby

Our Graded Tap classes are perfect for students aged 10 to 18 years who want to refine their tap dancing skills and take them to the next level. These classes follow the ISTD syllabus, offering structured training in advanced techniques, rhythm patterns, and performance. Whether students are preparing for exams or simply enjoy the art of tap, this program helps them grow as confident and skilled dancers.

What Happens in a Graded Tap Class?

Each class is carefully planned to balance technical training with creative expression. During the sessions, dancers will:

Students are encouraged to engage deeply with the music, learning how to interpret rhythms and create their own dynamic beats. The focus is on both timing and creativity, enhancing their overall artistry.

Graded Tap classes are tailored for students aged 10 to 18 years and are held at three convenient locations: Riccall Institute, Fulford Social Hall, and Osgodby Institute.

We recommend dancers wear tap shoes and comfortable attire that allows for ease of movement. Hair should be tied back neatly to ensure focus during class.
